Ideal Launch the Installers Choice
Ideal Boilers is undertaking a major product launch at InstallerLive in Coventry, one of the biggest initiatives the company has carried out since pioneering high efficiency technology into the UK market in the late 1980s.
Specifically designed to make significant in-roads into the independent one-off installer market and raise the bar in the industry, the UK's leading heating manufacturer is introducing the SEDBUK A rated Ideal Esprit HE combination boiler.
Dave Simpson, marketing director at Ideal Boilers, explains: We have commissioned extensive independent research with over 1100 installers from across the UK to find out exactly what they wanted and needed from a domestic boiler. This revealed that ease of installation and servicing, confidence in the quality and reliability of the product, price, simple to site and ease of use were the key factors independent installers were looking for in an appliance.
The new Ideal Esprit has been designed exactly with this in mind. Ultimately, the inspiration behind the development of the boiler is the feedback we have received from installers. InstallerLive therefore gives us the ideal platform to showcase this major launch to our customers and potential customers.
Available in a range of three models (24, 30 and 35kW), the Ideal Esprit features the proven cast aluminium-silicon heat exchanger installers have come to expect from Ideal, along with a brass waterset, Grundfos pump and concealed system connections for consistent, reliable and durable performance.
To help save installers’ time and money, the Esprit is compact and practical in design. Features such as a centrally positioned telescopic flue kit together with preformed copper connections at pipe clip distance from the wall and pre-fitted mains electrical lead make installation fast and simple.
For ease and speed of servicing, inside the boiler there is more space around the components to allow access for hands to manoeuvre, along with drop down controls and easy access to the condensate syphon.
Other features of the Esprit include a filling loop and automatic bypass built in as standard. These, together with optional programmers, including RF versions, enable the end-user to control central heating and hot water demands at the touch of a button and with highest efficiency and economy. The complete range also comes with a 10 year parts warranty on the heat exchanger and two year parts and labour warranty on the whole product for total peace of mind.
To celebrate the launch, Ideal has taken over the outside entrance to InstallerLive with its 'Ideal Esprit Grand Prix' paddock. Installers have the chance to see the Ideal Esprit boiler for the first time, along with taking advantage of free product training from the company's expert training team in the technical area.
To compliment this, installers will also be able to test their driving skills on a virtual reality driving consol. The 'Ideal Esprit Grand Prix' challenge will be visiting a number of exhibitions in 2007 and the installer that clocks the fastest time round the F1 circuit during this period will be crowned champion and win the ultimate motorsport prize – a three day trip for two to watch the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix.
Continued Simpson: The driving force behind the design of the Ideal Esprit has been independent installers. At Ideal, we believe this has helped us develop the ultimate boiler for the independent market and the Grand Prix challenge is our way of thanking them for their support.
