Make sure boiler on / off switch is on I
If boiler is not operating check fuse spur is in the on position. Fuse spurs are generally located near the boiler or in some instances in the airing cupboard. Fuse spurs can be with or without neon lights.
Check all house electrics are working, if not consider main. consumer unit (mains board/fuse box) for tripped RCD or Fuse blown. Switch off boiler at on / off switch before resetting. Reset RCD / repair blown fuse. Turn on boiler if RCD trips / fuse blows . Book call out.
  If all switched on and boiler still not working engineer visit required.
