Icos Boiler Six models HE12, 15, 18, 24, 30 & 36, these sizes relate to the maximum output from the boiler to the system in Kw. Icos boilers are generally fitted on open vented systems but can be systems that contain components to be a fully pumped sealed system these systems will have a pressure gauge and filling loop. Sedbuk Older Icos model m30-80 ceased production 2003 can be distinguished by only having a user control without the gray panel across front. Boilers can be fitted within cupboards with no ventilation, but minimum clearances must be maintained for service. See page 9 Inst & Serv To confirm size or boiler or correct PCB links for size of boiler, turn off power by on / off switch. When boiler comes back on it will briefly display a number 8 = HE12, 1 = HE15 2 = HE18, 3 = HE24 5=HE30, 4=HE36 Heating flow and return pipe work exits the boiler from the top right hand side, with a gas and condensate pipes below the boiler.

External plume management can also be fitted. see page 48 flue guide. Vertical flues can be run to a maximum of 8m. Deductions as above. Twin pipe flues are available in 60mm & 80mm diameters which allow for very long flue runs up to a maximum of 46m. See flue guide for full details |
