Systems can be open vented (most likely) or sealed using separate components to make a sealed system. Open vented systems should automatically refill themselves from the "F&E" tank in the roof space, sealed systems will need refilling from the filling loop if the pressure is below 0.5bar. Can lots of air be heard in system - Bleed air from radiators if no water comes out of radiators - problem with re-filling - call installer Systems should have a radiators not controlled by thermostatic valves (TRV'S) to allow heat to circulate away from boiler when all thermostats have shut down. Check lock shield valves (isolation valve) on this heat leak radiator have not been turned off or radiator removed. |
