Isar : Flow rates

Boiler will provide DHW based on a 35C temp rise on the incoming cold water mains.

The temp of the cold mains water will vary between summer and winter.

In the colder winter months you may need to reduce the flow rate by turning down the taps to obtain a higher temperature of water.

The flow of water may be too fast to heat the water to the required temp.

Isar Model Flow Rate ( l / min) This table shows the flow rates of each boiler. For eg. The Isar 24 is capable of producing 9.6 litres per minute at a 35C temp rise from the incoming cold water.
Isar 24 9.6
Isar 30 12.0
Isar 35 14.4

This could be checked by timing the filling of a 5 litre (1 gallon) bucket.

Approximate Times

Isar 24 30 Seconds
Isar 30 25 Seconds
Isar 35 20 seconds
