Boiler is running in pre-heat mode which ensures fast delivery of DHW. Pre heat occurs every 1h30m and lasts for approximately 1 minute. This is a normal function. If code keeps coming on a lot more regularly, suspect dripping taps A preheat disablement kit is now available as an optional extra. This will disable the preheat - if this kit is fitted the hot water will take longer to reach temperature |

Only occurs on boilers produced after 2007 after L9 is reset. Indicates boiler is cooling down. Has to be below 50C before boiler will fire. Boiler can take approx 30mins to cool down please ensure system pressure exceeds 1 bar and all TRV'S are open during this period |

p indicates boiler is in frost protection mode, if the temperature at the boiler falls below 5C the pump will run to circulate water around the heating system. (only on boilers produced from 2007) |

Normal boiler operation mode. If the temperature at the boiler continues to fall below 3C the boiler will fire to raise the temperature back above 5C. This mode will operate more frequently when boilers are fitted in exposed areas e.g... Garages / lofts (only on boilers produced from 2007) |
