System : Dripping taps

 

Dripping taps or water leaks from the hot water pipe work will cause the boiler to run in modes and prevent heating from working.

Ask user to visually check all taps are off or not dripping, this should include a careful inspection as sometimes the water can run down the spout and not be visible, check if any taps are hot!. If boiler remains on d follow one of steps below.

  • Isolate the cold water inlet to boiler (use large flat headed screwdriver to turn slot alignment across pipe), ensure no hot water flows from the tap.
  • Allow 1 minute for temperature stabilization.
